Vinyl Inflatable Cushion Sitting can be excruciating for new moms. This inflatable donut-shaped cushion is quite the “lifesaver”. Personal Wash Bottle During the first week after giving birth, it is not advisable to wipe with toilet paper after using the toilet. A better alternative is to fill this squirt bottle with warm water and gently rinse the vaginal/anal area. Witch Hazel Pads (Tucks®) Hemorrhoids are common after childbirth and witch hazel pads safely soothe the affected area. These are also wonderful for soothing a sore perineum healing from an episiotomy or tear. Maxi Pads (Maximum Absorbency) Most women experience heavy bleeding during the first week of the postpartum period. Tampons are not to be used during this time. Lanolin-Based Nipple Ointment Dry cracked nipples are a common complaint for breastfeeding mothers. This product will relieve and prevent these symptoms, and is safe for baby. Disposable Nursing Pads For breastfeeding moms, leaky breasts are common. These will adhere directly to the bra to prevent embarrassing wet spots and stains. Feeding schedule Fragrance-Free Lotion The healthy glow of pregnancy is a thing of the past for new moms and is often replaced by dry, itchy skin as hormones shift. This lotion is fragrance free in order to preserve mom’s natural scent. Fragrance-Free Soap Newborn babies are learning how to breastfeed and may reject the breast if offended by perfumes. Babies often prefer the natural scent of their mothers. Each kit comes shrink-wrapped in a lined wicker basket*. Every item is tastefully and discreetly wrapped.
